Calls being billed before zap call out

hello
I am using Asterisk to terminate calls to ptsn trunk but as soon as the call hits the Asterisk box the call shows are connected before dialling out the Zap
i use openvox A1200P card with 12 fxo module

Well sorry to say, But you have just learnt the first rule of telecoms. Dont use Pots lines for any application that requires accurate billing.
Basicly except under rare circumstances ther is no answer supervision on posts circuits. Basicy as soon as the call is passed out its seen as answered. Unless you can relaibly get tone supervision to work then you are stumped.

Best advise is move to either a IP trunk or ISDN. these do support supervison and will report correctly on answer busy etc…
