Call Screening Help


In Asterisk 14, when call screening is enabled and i receive a call, after playing who’s calling, if I just hang up, it terminates the call.
Is there a way to set that if i hang up before accepting the call it should be sent to voicemail?


Try using the g option of the dial command

g - Proceed with dialplan execution at the next priority in the current extension if the destination channel hangs up.

Asterisk will consider the call to have been answered in this case

Beside of reporting popurses on the CDR what could be the issue if call has been considered as answer , in this case ?

The issue is that you will have to find a way for your dialplan to work out whether it was answered by a human, or not.
