Best way to store audio records

Hello all,

I would like to know what are the best practices regarding Asterisks audio records storage for a configuration with around 300 agents that can make call concurrently.

I am struggling to find the best practices so far …

  • Is it better to save in local server and copy to an archived server after (a NAS for example) ?
  • Is it better to mount a share folder (NAS with NFS) for this folder /var/spool/asterisk/monitor and to save directly to this share folder ?
  • Is there any other recommended solution ?

You might check out ‘rsync’ as well, and combine that with restricted, non-login user accounts with SSH keys, to shuffle the data.
