We have a number of offices, each having their own PABX, and inter-office calls go via IAX trunks.
We’ve had a few occasions where audio drops out on these calls.
On a couple of occasions, audio has dropped out at one end during the call. The user had to hang up and try again.
On another occasion, audio was not able to be obtained at either end when a call was made. The user then tried to call a different extension in the same office, with the same result. After a few minutes, they tried again, and all worked ok.
So far, it has only been experienced with calls to one particular office.
Any ideas what could cause such a problem?
