Asterisk plays wrong VM message

I’ve recorded an unavailable and busy message in my vm mailbox, and I can see the unavail and busy sound files in /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/299

However, when I ring in (with extn busy or unanswered) i get the standard ‘hello you call cannot be answered…’ message.

How can I change this?



I’ve found out why the message I was expecting did not play. It turned out to be another answer machine that the customer had on the SIP phone. Once disabled, the correct message was played.
