Asterisk hangup when calling extension from cell phone

Hey All,

One of our extensions is disconnecting when callers try to connect. I think it’s only doing this on cell phones.

We had extension 5 working as a remote extension. Our rep wanted two phones to ring (home and office) so we changed 5 to be a ringgroup, ringing his two extensions. It works generally, but some callers get disconnected when they push extension 5. I think it’s only cell phones though (not proven, but it disconnects on my cell phone, and works on my other phones).

I gotta tell you, I don’t even know where to start looking. Any thoughts?

Start looking in the logs, in particular the channel technology protocol logs for both the incoming and outgoing channels (if different technologies).
