Asterisk french as default

Hi everyone,

Is there a whay to set the whole pbx in french as default? I am able to set SIP, Voicemail…but I am using H.323 trunk and when I get a call from that channel, all the prompts are in english. I tried language=fr in general section of h323.conf but it doesn’t make any difference. I was wondering if there is a place where we can setup french as default?

Try use

Set(CHANNEL(language)=fr)

at the start of your extensions, where needed, I know it’s not a pbx wide setting but don’t know a better solution.
