Good Day We are using asterisk for a month now and it’s just since this weekend that this error is showing when im opening CLI were using this with vicidial 2.2.1

Thsi is the error on CLI

[Jun 14 11:20:12] NOTICE[3335]: chan_sip.c:15236 handle_request_register: Registration from '"mobile" <sip:mobile@>' failed for '' - Peer is not supposed to register
[Jun 14 11:20:12] ERROR[3335]: chan_sip.c:8718 register_verify: Peer 'mobile' is trying to register, but not configured as host=dynamic
[Jun 14 11:20:12] NOTICE[3335]: chan_sip.c:15236 handle_request_register: Registration from '"mobile" <sip:mobile@>' failed for '' - Peer is not supposed to register

As it says. If you have a fixed IP address configured for hte peer, it shouldn’t be trying to register.

Good Day Sir,
thank you for the reply , can i ask where can i check that settings?
I’m not the one that set the dial plan and configured it. But for the moment i can’t contact the programmer so i’m trying to find a solution.

sip.conf, host=

HOWEVER, if you are connected to the public internet, you should not be changing this without really understanding what you are doing, as changing it to dynamic will make the system less secure. Fixing the remote end may be better.
