i’m currently writing my master theses about asterisk.
i want to include some background information about asterisk.
can you provide some for me:
e.g. who uses Asterisk in general (companies, private households, interesseted developeres and engineers, …)
are there any companies, which provide asterisk consulting, installation?
some information like that would be usefull for my theses.

Asterisk is used by many companies. If you search around you can find examples of what some interconnects are doing with Asterisk as well as what other companies have posted. It is also used by many people for homes, home automation. There have been articles out there that have talked about Research departments using asterisk so that when plants need water “the plant” calls you and tells you that it needs water.
