I have searched all the web and i cannot found an asterisk 1.6 installation guide.
If anyone knows a guide please help me to find it.

Download the source to /usr/src
tar zxf asterisk-x-x-x.tar.gz
cd asterisk-x-x-x
./configure
make menuselect
make
make install
Just the same as v1.4
