After loggin in asterisk gui 2.0 I only get system status

I have installed asterisk gui 2.0 for our asterisk 1.4.22 and the 3 other download files.

when I log on to our local-domain-name:xxxx/asterisk/ … basic.html I only get system status navigation.

for this user under manager.conf file we have
[USERNAME]
secret = PASSWORD
read = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user,config
write = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user,config

the instructions for installing was very straight forward. The only thing could not do with installing asterisk-gui 2.0 is “make samples”. I get “make: *** No rule to make target `samples’. Stop.”

Just cannot get all the other navigaqtion in left column.

I found the answer. we are using centos 5.2 and from another posting, did this

ls -lah /var/lib/asterisk/static-http

and it worked.

was there anything else you did?
That’s just an ls command you mention which doesn’t change anything.

I’m seeing the same issue. I have asterisk 1.6 stock, with the 2.0 gui.
I checked permissions and it’s all readable by root which is what asterisk is running as.

I also have problems installing 2.0 gui

tryed several 2.0 gui versions and all with the same problems
it present me the login page, I enter my correct credentials and it appears “loading” at the top right but does nothing, just remains at the login page

this happens both with asterisk 1.6.0.2 and 1.4.22

the 1.0 gui after sevral permission problems and the symlynk “trick” i could get it working

does anyone knows how to solve this or this is definitly a 2.0 bug?
