WARNING[7623]: translate.c:204 framein: g729tolin did not up

1.6.2.9 issue

When ever we dial the following gateway using this version of Asterisk and G729 codec we get the following warnings displayed on our screen.

We have tried calling other gateways and it is fine, and we have also tried calling that gateway that is having problems on version 1.4 and we dont get these warnings.

please assist.

This is in the G.729 module. If the problem is there, you need to contact the commercial support channels for the organisation that sold you it, unless you are confident that the problem lies outside Asterisk. This forum is for the open source variant of Asterisk. Digium have separate support for the G.729 codecs.

In the latter case, you need to tell us what is performing the G.729 coding function, and even then it may be better to use their support services.

Does the gateway have G.729b, silence suppression or VAD enabled?

If so, turn it off.
