1.2 and 1.4 differences

I was looking a the downloads page trying to work out whether to download 1.2 or 1.4. I couldnt find any clear inforation about the differences. Ive had a look through the forum and its making a bit more sense but surely there should be some more information on the downloads page or a page describing the differences and reasons for two versions.

If there is a page and im just too stupid to find it, let me know!

I was looking for that too. When you download it, there is a file called CHANGES that lists all the changes.

not sure whether we are talking about the same file here but i was looking at one changes file and it was huge. Just a simple summary detailing why you would want one version over the other would be good
