what version of zaptel do you have installed ?

zaptel-1.2.14, however, i compiled but did not install it yet. i wanted to make sure everything compiled first. must i do a make and make install on zaptel before compiling asterisk?

that would be the first thing i would try. if the Asterisk modules depend on a particular version of Zaptel, that would sort it out.

it would be good to get some sort of “depends on” list going, as not all versions co-exist.
