Ztdummy on OSX

Hello folks,

I’m just getting my feet wet with VoIP and have gotten Asterisk running on Mac OS X. So far, so good.

I wanted to utilize conferences, so I’ll need to install the ztdummy driver. The FreeBSD release notes mention recompiling the kernel with a slight modification (“options HZ=1000”). Is this a necessary step to get the driver running on OSX? Are there any other things that I should look out for?

I figure it’s best to ask before loading drivers and tweaking kernels.

thanks for any info,

Jaime

Bump - I’m trying to solve the same issue.

Anyone got any guidance here?

Thanks,
