I’m reading mixed results about running Asterisk under VMware.
Has anyone run an X100P card under VMware and made it work?
Just curious if I should create a VM or run * direct on the server.
VMWare does cannot directly use any hardware on the physical server. All virtual hardware is just that virtual. If VMware doesn’t write the code for the hardware it can’t exist in the Virtual Hardware list.
Therefore long story short, no its not possibe.
