Ways to check the call-type


I need to check the type of call (i.e. incoming call or outgoing call) using GosubIf.

Can i use channel variables to check the data ?

Is it possible to check the data in the live channel ?

Can anyone please help me on do this ?

I don’t think there is anything that you can check during a call. Why don’t you have incoming and out going calls go through different contexts ?

You could always set a channel variable at the start of the call. If your outbound calls are originated using .call files or the AMI you could supply the variable right in the request… or you could write it into your dialplan.
