Hey,
We have a predictive dialer developed around asterisk using ISDN to dial out. The new plan is to move that to VOIP. I’m wondering can we get dial results like ringing,busy, no dial from a VOIP channel. With the provider do they have to use IAX protocol? Anyone know of a VOIP provider with IAX in australia? Would appreciate all advices/ideas.

Yes and even 'Do not disturb" can be realised for SIP.

You can use a SIP or H323 service provider or you can use your existing
ISDN trunks.
for the existing ISDN use an E1/T1 card that is suitable for your purpose from the
