Voicepulse - peer unreachable or too lagged?

Hi,

I could really use some help on this. I’ve been using Voicepulse for about a year, and have had good service with them with the same server on the same network.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been taking calls about the service quality going bad, and in the error logs I have plenty of (sometimes it says TOO LAGGED before UNREACHABLE!):

I’m running Asterisk 1.2.13 on a linux server that does nothing but asterisk, and the pipe below is dedicated to the server. And this is happening in a call environment of:
Single call (not multiple calls)
Caller calls in, asterisk voice prompt answers
User interacts via DTMF (no user voice) Asterisk answers with recorded voice prompts.

(lots of these errors)

I used the free demo version of
myvoipspeed.visualware.com/
And my throughput is fine. 15mb/s down, 1.9mb/s up. QOS and Jitter were great.

How do I determine if this is me or voicepulse? And if it’s voicepulse, who do I switch to?

thanks!
