Trouble shooting a ZAP extension

OK, I have one extension (directly attached to the Digium Card) and set up as a ‘ZAP extension’, and it worked for a while. But now while it can recieve calls it cannot call anyone, inside or outside. I have deleted the extension and recreated it several time with no change. I even changed the extension number.

Any ideas on where I would begin to troubleshoot?

first, you need to post more information. What do you mean by ‘deleted and re-added’? did you edit the config files? which ones?

Also which version of * are you using? if you are running trixbox/asterisk@home you might have better luck on their forum but this is worth a shot…

also post some debug info- what happens on the * console when you try to dial in/out to your extension? is there an error (if so post the ENTIRE error and a few lines before/after it)… if not try zap debug and post what you get…
