Timeline for next LTS release with chan_websocket

Hello,

We want to use chan_websocket in our production environment, but it’s currently only on the master branch. When will the new LTS be released?

To be specific it’s not just on the master branch. It’s in the respective release branches as well - such as 22.

As for the releases that will include it most likely next month. Current release candidates graduate to full release status this week, then in a few weeks we’ll do new release candidates, if all goes well the week after would see full release of those. So - next month.

I could have swore we didn’t get media over websocket in until later, but that isn’t the case. The good news is that these latest releases include it!

Just a note that you could always use AudioSocket connections in current Asterisk versions, without waiting. Here is a brief comparison of Asterisk-WebSocket versus AudioSocket.
