TE121B + optus australia

I recently got the TE121B anf hooked the optus multichannel line, installed dahdi and configured it.

  1. when I did dahdi_genconf , dahdi_scan it show all the details correctly.
  2. in asterisk , after configuring chan_dahdi its shows 24 Channels are ‘InService’.
    But when I called In / Out nothing is happening, asterisk shows unable to create channel (dahdi), moreover the LED at the back of TE121B a RED light is flashing. I don’t know what went wrong or how to fix it…

There is a jumper on the card which is set by default to T1.
In Australia we have E1 circuits.

Just flip the jumper and it will work. Should show 31channels configured.
