I am a newbie. I’ve looked in the wiki and asterisk: the future of telephony for the answer to this questions and did not see any answers. I know that asterisk will work with any sip hard phones as long as they follow the standard.
Does anyone know if the Talidan / Corel Flexset 280 S phone is an sip phone that will work with asterisk. We are a small business who is willing to try out Asterisk and management just loves that phone.
If I were to buy say a Cisco 7940G or Grandstream phone, how would I program the phone so that it would allow me to dial an extension to execute a function like monitoring with a touch of a button.
Does anybody know how to implement whisper paging with asterisk? Thank you for your time and patience.
