System Solution

Hi guys.

Im currently a tech at a small internet company. The company has reciently opened another office in a different town. The new office has limited staff but will be getting alot of calls.

Basicaly what I need to know is:

Can this software forward local calls to the new office to our current office VIA VOIP. So when a call is made to the new office, can it then be sent over Voip to the other office, saving the phone charge of a long distance phone call.

Thanks for the help.

Sure, it can. You need 2 voip-gateways for this. (1 in the main company, 1 in the “smaller office”)

You can even let asterisk do this directly, if you hook-up 2 asterisk “servers”, and make them communicate through a VPN.
