I have a problem with a thomson speedtouch 716v5 WL when being used as an ATA on the local LAN.
I have used the “voipata.tpl” file which provides the option to use the router as a standard ATA using the “lan4” port this seems to have worked - I have entered the user / pass etc in the wizard, but it is not being registered with the server.
I can use softphones with exactly the same login details and they work OK, but the router just seems not to get to a “voip ready” state, there is plenty of activity but no connection.
I have tried a hardware reset and re-config of the router and searching for orphans etc, no joy.
Anyone have any ideas??? - PLEASE!!!
