Some 8xx numbers not completing

I have been working with my SIP trunk provider and this is what they see as the problem:

I do see when you call local DIDs you pass the correct CID but when you call TFN you are still passing your username. Please see below:
From: “Tranquil Shores” sip:cjam_shore@67.78.152.126;tag=as1facc5ca

This should read From: “Tranquil Shores” <7273917001>.

Can you help with correcting this.

Note this will still set the domain name. In fact, I seem to remember that the domain is not optional; it is the user that is optional.

Your subject is a complete red herring!

I have two 8xx numbers which when dialed from any sip phone on our pbx will ring for 10

  • times and then go to a busy signal. When called from any other source they ring and are answered.

My sip trunk support has traced each of the calls and the cid being presented they feel is the problem… even though other 8xx numbers connect.

Here is a recent call log…I need do need assistance to figure this out.

– SIP/vitel-outbound-00000395 is making progress passing it to SIP/1983-00000394
– Nobody picked up in 65000 ms
== Auto fallthrough, channel ‘SIP/1983-00000394’ status is ‘NOANSWER’

These calls produced the cid trace results mentioned earlier.
