it seems that the smsq utility - or the app_sms module of asterisk - does not work well with long sms.
First, it makes a too big sms shorter without giving any notice.
Second, if i send multiple sms at the same time - likely when handling too long sms in a separate application - it fails.
I’m connected to german telecom and it seems to if as if they do not support to send mulitple sms per call. if asterisk dials - send one or more sms - disconnects (also doing this multiple times again), only the first sms send during the each call arrives.
Is there any option to make app_sms to send only a single sms per call?
Or is that not the point, so that should be a misconfiguration in my local asterisk.
I’m using latest CVS asterisk with Isdn4Linux (Hisax) on Debian Sarge, Kernel 2.6.8-2, on a AMD K6-2 500 Mhz.
