I run *-1.2.9.1 on a FreeBSD server. It’s an older P220 Dell but it’s doing okay so far. Now that I have local, incoming and outgoing via PSTN, conference rooms, etc…all working I started testing the system with multiple calls. Some calls from other IP phones on the LAN and some through my DID.
Thus far it holds up very well under light loads (3 or less simultaneous connections). What I have noticed is that the sample files with the woman’s voice are the choppy part of the calls. The other recordings I’ve made as well as the mp3’s that play for musiconhold are clear. Very little latency even with three simulataneous calls. I’m sure it could handle a little more but this is afterall a P220 with only 64MB RAM.
