Sip user still authenticating even when deleted from Postgres database

Hi,
I have asterisk connected to postgres through ODBC. Sip users are able to authenticate as soon as their sip records are added in the sippeers table.
However, after deleting a sip user record from the sippeers table a user is still able to authenticate and make a call until i run a reload in asterisk CLI.

Does a deletion of a database record not respond to realtime? Please help

Database contents is cached.

Thanks @david551 , is there a way to disable caching
