I’m having a problem with my Asterisk system sending proper * key beeps to other automated attendant systems.
It appears to be caching the first * key press and when I press the second time it then sends 2 quick * key beeps out on the phone line. The two * key beeps in quick succession cause problems on the AA systems we need to dial into.
I’m using Linksys SPA-942 and EyeBeam soft phones. Both phone types do the same thing, so I am assuming it’s an issue with Asterisk and not the internal dial plans of the phones.
Any suggestions on how I can resolve this, so I can send a single * key beep to an outside AA system?
