Can someone tell me if the “shared lines appearance” on the Cisco 7960 works with an Asterisk PBX?
from what I read they can but I donot have any of those phones to try
They can, easily if you run the chan_sccp2 , i tried this for a while and on transfer asterisk would complete crash cutting off all phone calls so I use strictly SIP which cannot at this time do shared lines with these phones.
