# Setup a remote access to asterisk via PSTN line

Do anybody how can i setup a remote access to asterisk via PSTN line ?  
I have been seach for the forum and couldnt find the solution. I want to dialup to my remote asterisk pabx and login to the console via PSTN. This is a common feature for traditional pabx. Is this feature valuble inside asterisk ?

Hi

You could setup a modem as a serial tty terminal on the server or, what we have done is use a serial ras box, We used in the ast Lantronix and now Avocent ACS1 units, Not cheap but very good.
