Setting up Asterisk System for Telecoms Company

Hi all,

I’m looking for some advice in relation to best practice for setting up a hosted phone system solution.

We are presently using a hosted platform with a third party and are looking to go out on our own using our own hosted servers with Asterisk as the preferred solution.

What I need to know is -

  1. What is the most stable version of Asterisk to use in a commercial environment?

  2. Is there a pre-built bundle that offers Billing, Call Recording, IVR, etc.?

  3. Are there any limitations to the use of Asterisk?
