Senior Professional Services/Pre-Sales Consultant
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Professional Services consultant. This
new role is to ensure we provide the very best partnership with our customers and
help them have an excellent experience with us from the beginning. We require
someone with good experience in dealing with customers, consulting, pre-sales and
technical advice on all areas of our product portfolio. This role requires excellent
problem-solving skills and someone with the ability to build a strong relationship with
customers and staff alike. They will also require good voip knowledge, linux and
networking understanding and the ability to think laterally and solve problems.
Professional Services
§ Solution preparation/management proposal based on customers’
§ Facilitates client training and provides advice on operational issues
§ Establish cost and time estimates for implementation
§ May act as a resource to assist other teams in development and testing
§ Understand competitor’s solutions and produce comparison reviews
§ Takes the lead in all aspects of implementation at a client’s site
§ Offer support for the portfolio of products and services, including;
presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts and production proposals
§ Act as a subject matter expert across the sales team to identify possible
revenue streams
§ Bridge the gap between installation and post-sales support
§ Stay current on industry technology trends and provide knowledge transfer to
customers and team members
§ Requires flexibility to meet last minute requirements
§ Requires exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
§ Experience of using Salesforce CRM
§ Must possess sound commercial judgement
§ Should have roots in Computer Science, with a deep understanding of the
power of business intelligence, databases and data analysis tools
Pre-sales Consultant
§ Working closely with customers to understand and capture requirements
§ Uncover details of business problems that the prospect has. The pre-sales
person will understand and closely analyse the prospects requirements
§ Provide onsite and web-based customer training and professional services
§ Monitor accurate and correct delivery of software sold
§ Replying to customers following requests for information and proposal
§ Develop implementation plans and strategies tailored to customer business
and technical needs
§ Advise customer technical teams on implementation strategies and best
§ Attending meetings with business development managers and acting as a
technical expert
§ Producing detailed costings for customers and ensuring profit for the company
§ Providing ongoing support for customers post implementation
§ Ensuring that the company’s product can deliver on the customer’s
§ Putting together business cases for the sales teams to support their proposals
§ Requires excellent time management, communication, and organisational
§ Assist Sales team members in the production of quotes, bids and proposals.
§ Should be a team player with the ability to adopt a leadership role where
§ Must be a subject matter expert with extensive software systems experience
§ An ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way
that is easy to understand
Additional Requirements:
§ Excellent understanding of SIP and VoIP
§ Understanding of Asterisk and it’s features
§ Excellent understanding of Data products (Leased lines, MPLS, IP-VPN, SDWAN,
§ Understanding of databases and mysql
§ Knowledge/experience with CRM integrations
§ Knowledge/experience with using APIs
§ Advantageous to have software programming skills
§ Have a keen interest in the latest technologies
