Running the softphone in windows and asterisk in VM

Hey,

As I have mentioned earlier I was able to install asterisk and it’s up and running in VM.

Now my question is will be I able to make call from softphone which in Windows, provided asterisk is up and running in VM.

Or do I have to have my softphone to be installed in VM too.

No,
Just make sure your Virtualizer has its network configured in such a way that you can access it from outside the VM and then treat the VM like any other computer on your network.
