Run ppp over T1/E1 using digium pri board

There are lots of information on using digium pri board for voice ( asterisk ). Can someone please point me how to use it for data application and interoperate with Cisco and so on ? Best is if I have a 4 port board, can I separate 2 for voice and 2 for data ?
