[Resolved] Is this a bug?

I just moved from an earlier version of asterisk (can’t remember which one. Jan. 2006) to the latest one (1.2.15) and zaptel 1.2.14

Everything was working OK with the earlier version

No hardware was changed.

I’m testing following scenario:

Asterisk server ip: 192.168.1.100
Ext. 1000 is a DECT phone connected to a Linksys 3000 (ip: 192.168.1.10)
Ext. 1200 is a softphone (SJphone) (ip: 192.168.1.13)
Ext. 1205 is a DECT phone connected to a TDM11B

calling from 1205 to 1200 is OK
calling from 1200 to 1205 is OK
calling from 1000 to 1200 is OK
calling from 1200 to 1000 is OK
calling from 1000 to 1205 is OK
calling from 1205 to 1000 is NOK

I get following

It looks like the call is going into a loop a certain numbers of times, and then giving me voicemail that 1000 is unavailable.

I deleted asterisk and re-installed it again, but same procedure.

Is this a BUG ??
This was ok in my earlier astersik version.

It looks like Sip/1000 is set to forward to extension 99. Then extension 99 is set to dial Sip/1000 thus creating a loop…

Thanks very much for your reply.
You were absolutely correct.
A wrong setting in the Linskys 3000 created the loop. :imp:

It’s OK now.

You’re welcome.
