Hi!!I just wanted to ask if asterisk can detect the release signal. If release signal or cost value can be detected or interpret by asterisk I can assign the correct palyback for a certain call.Is this possible for asterisk.

depends on what ‘release signal’ is. On many analog POTS lines, the line will reverse polarity when the remote side disconnects, asterisk will detect that.
