Why do they specify to put this in the general section, and not the [anveo] context?
Locate [general] secion and add the following
register => ACCOUNT_NUMBER:SIP_PASSWORD@sip.anveo.com:5010
Better to ask them. I imagine it should be possible to get rid of register= and use callbackextension instead. If using UDP.
I would use just their domain name (anveo.com) and rely on DNS SRV for host and port resolution. This needs to be tested though.
SIP registration are before peer definition. Read the sip.conf sample provided.
