Reg.Asterisk and multitech

Hi,

i have an asterisk 1.2.4 configured and tested and working fine. now i am connecting asterisk and multitech mvp810 using the SIP. i configured the extensions … it has got registered with asterisk.

i am able to make the call from multitech through the asterisk… after making the calls… i am able to hear the voice /tone of the person i called. but when i speak , they are not able to hear.

i use G729 codec in the asterisk.

and the same time… i am seeing the following

it is running like anything…

also it is not accepting the DTMF after the call is conneted or made…

i shall be thankfull… if you can help me out of this situation.

Any common idea abt this error msg.

I have just purchased some MVP units, and according to Multitech support, they only support G711u for SIP calls. So perhaps that is the cause of your problem. Try setting the MVP channel to G711u

Thank you ! i have fixed the asterisk+ multitech combination…

just i have removed the forward error correction in advanced tab… it started working fine now.
