RED ALARM on TE410P

I am getting this error can anybody help on how can I get rid of it

How come your 4th span is 96, where span5 should be (if existant) ?

Assuming no NFAS, D channels are:
1 span = 24
2 span = 48
3 span = 72
4 span = 96

FYI Rowell, there’s not enough info there to go on. It could be a large number of things (cabling, configuration, sun-spots) and it’s not possible to troubleshoot without additional information. Basically, it’s telling you that span 4 configured (‘Provisioned’) but not working properly (‘In Alarm, Down’).

I would first suspect the cable. Most of the time you will use a T1 cross over cable. Pin outs can be found here:
