Recording time different from duration time

I have a client who has a call center and records all calls. We noticed that sometimes the duration is longer than the recording time. Can you tell me why this happens and how I can check if it is an adjustment or an inconsistency?

Can someone help me understand what might be happening?

Depending on settings, only the time when the call is bridged will be recorded. Also, sections with no media flowing will be deleted from the recording.
