I’m running the most recent 1.2 release at home with 1 POTS line which runs into a Linksys SPA-3102. OS is Slackware 12.0. Recently my family has started complaining that during a call, out of the blue they hear the “transfer” announcement, then the call disconnects. I do not believe that the # key is being pressed accidentally.
I have not seen this behavior until recently, and the only recent changes I’ve made were the upgrade to 1.2.29 (from 2 or 3 few releases back), and replacing a Digium PCI card with the SPA-3102
Has anyone heard of such behavior? I’m not sure where to begin hunting so any suggestions are welcome.
I’ve found more information which may help someone help me.
In /var/log/asterisk/messages, I see the following entry at times which I think coincide with the unwanted transfer announcements:
File /var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3/fpm-calm-river does not exist in any format
However:
root@pbx:/var/log/asterisk# ls -la /var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3/
