Push updated directory to Aastra handsets without rebooting

If this topic has already been covered, I apologize, but I was unable to find it after searching the forum.

Does anyone know how to update the Aastra 6755i internal directory without rebooting the handsets? Is there a push operation I can setup from the CLI or a .pl I can run from the server that will push this information? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We use an xml app so the sets use a central directory.
as far as I know there isnt push and also changes arnt seen by the overnight update. This can be worked around though
