ok, on a VPS you can’t install Trixbox. it’s a distro, not a suite of applications. someone else has taken care of the OS for you, now you need to get Asterisk on.
do you have access to yum ? can you install svn this way ?
the Asterisk install instructions on that page were good until maybe early this year. things changed lots around the release of 1.2
