Getting Asterisk setup here in the office. I can make outbound calls. But inbound only works if i have a Wide range of Ports opened between 1-6000
I followed Broadvoice suggestions for ports they are.
69-69 UDP
5060-5063 UDP
10000-20000 UDP
With that I can make outbound calls but no inbound.
Ideas?

Thanks Dan, I got the ports setup. Inbound calls come in now but no ringing for the inbound caller. Ideas?

You actually have to tell asterisk to make the ringing noise. If you want all of your calls to ring, add this bit to your ‘s’ extension.
[default]
exten => s,1,Ringing()
exten => s,2,Wait(2)
This will make all calls coming in / going out through the default extension ringing for two seconds before answering. Check out this link, it give a little more explaination.

What type of firewall (or most likely actually a FILTER by definition) are you using ?
Depending on the stateful capabilities, the requirements change. I can help if I know what you’re using…
Sonick,
Sonicwall PRO 2040 Standard
Firmware Version: SonicOS Standard 3.1.0.7-77s
dmikusa,
Can you do this in *@home ?
