yes. and to be honest; my chan_sip settings are a mess. pjsip is so much clearer with templates etc… but seomething seems changed in asterisk 13 and 16 that prevents it from working…

Found the issue… for the chan_sip no working.
It seems the contact is formulated incorrectly:
Contact: sip:600@72.externalasteriskIP:5060;transport=tcp
I have chan_sip tcp transport set to port 5080 via sip.conf:
tcpenable=yes
tcpbindaddr=0.0.0.0:5080
But for some reason the contact is sent as above. not sure where its getting 5060 but if I forward 5060 to 5080 via the router; it works…
