Phones picking up wrong extension

I have phones in remote offices that use NAT which are picking up the wrong extension. The scenario is such:

A remote office using NAT has two phones that connect to the same Asterisk PBX. We use Vox on top of Asterisk to set things up. The phones have unique MAC addresses which are setup properly in Vox. However, when these phones connect to the PBX, both of them will pick up the same extension from phone 1 rather than the one assigned to their MAC address.

Has anybody seen this before? Not sure what to do.

Thanks in advance.

When you say “Vox” do you mean “Switchvox?”

Cheers

Perhaps I should find a forum for them?

Howdy,

Yeah, you might want to take it up with them.
