I’m a asterisk newbie using asterisk@home. I began using a wildcard X100P clone and was able to configure it to make and receive calls using a soft phone without much difficulty. I then decided to upgrade to the a real board (a Digium TDM400P Developer Board).
The problem is that when the line rings the phone does not and is eventually sent to voicemail. However, if you pick it up the call is connected. Also, when I attempt to make an outbound call I am prompted that all circuits are busy at this time. Any thoughts? I have tried changing all the settings as listed in manual and the asterisk book. Could it be a defective board?
Each time the system boots it says the board has been removed and then finds it again. Is this out of the ordinary? Can I do anything to fix it?
