To be able to properly monitor call activity, the handling of a PARKED call is extremely important. At the present time it appears that a Parked call is considered by the tracking algorithm as completed … when in fact many times it is only started.
As a result the reporting of call activity is erroneous to say the least and can be totally misleading.
It is my understanding that this is a well known issue within the Asterisk group for sometime, and that there is no know workaround or future fix planned.
This issue is like running a car with no gauges … can anyone help with this possible solutions to this critical shortcoming.
